Netflix has announced an animated series based on Minecraft. The animated series will offer an original story with new characters, presenting the world of Minecraft in a new light.

No directors, producers, writers or actors have been revealed yet. Previously, two seasons of Telltale's “Minecraft: Story Mode” spin-off have been released, and a movie adaptation starring Jack Black is planned for April 4, 2025.
