Riot backtracks -- Hextech Chests are rewarding again! Not long ago, Riot reworked their monetization strategy, drastically reducing free content in League of Legends—and, unsurprisingly, players weren’t happy. But it looks like Riot realized they went too far and are now bringing back valuable rewards to Hextech Chests.

What’s new? ✅ Players can once again earn up to 5 free Hextech Chests per month. ✅ Champion prices in Blue Essence have been cut in half. ✅ Various small tweaks: more key fragments, Essence Emporium changes, and more.

The update is rolling out in mid-March.
