🎬 Hey, OGCommunity! Time for some hot news:
The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep is now streaming on Netflix — a new animated film in the Witcher universe.
Netflix continues to expand the Witcher universe! The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep is now available on the platform—an animated film based on "A Little Sacrifice", a short story by Andrzej Sapkowski.
The story follows Geralt of Rivia, who gets caught in a conflict between humans and sirens, as well as a hopeless love story. Alongside new characters, Yennefer will make an appearance, and Geralt is once again voiced by Doug Cockle, the iconic voice from CD Projekt Red’s Witcher games.
Netflix has already adapted The Witcher both as a live-action series and as the animated film Nightmare of the Wolf, both of which received mixed reactions. As a result, this release didn’t generate much hype, and early reviews describe it as another well-animated film with a sterile storyline.
What do you think, OGCommunity? A worthy addition to the Witcher universe, or just another forgettable release?
