Marvel Rivals Season 1 — New heroes, maps, and a fresh mode are here.

Season 1 of Marvel Rivals has launched, bringing a wealth of new content and balance updates:

New Heroes: Four playable characters: Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing. By the end of the season, the roster will include 37 playable fighters.

New Maps: Three maps in the Eternal Night Empire: Midtown, Central Park, and Sanctum Sanctorum.

Unique Skins: Special skins will be available for Loki, Moon Knight, Rocket, Peni Parker, Magneto, Namor, Iron Man, Adam Warlock, Scarlet Witch, and Wolverine.

New Mode: Champion Duel — a 1v1 mode with counter-pick mechanics.

Balance Changes: Developers will also implement balance adjustments. According to Zhiyong, ranged duelists have dominated the meta, so Hela and Hawkeye will be slightly nerfed. Meanwhile, Wolverine, Cloak and Dagger, Captain America, Venom, and Storm will receive buffs.

The season will last three months and will be split into two halves, each spanning 6–7 weeks.
